Proposed New Surgery Building

Many of our Patient will be aware that for a number of years we have wanted to co-locate our two separate surgery sites into single premises that are more convenient and modern, Improving quality for our patients and working conditions for our staff.

We are happy to inform you that we have now found a suitable site for development at Merton Vision, 67 Clarendon Road, SW19 2DX and are progressing jointly on plans to make the move happen, with support from Merton Clinical Commissioning Group and working closely with Merton Vision, which will also be co-located at the new site.

A joint briefing session was held about ten days ago hosted by Harry Cowd, Chair of Merton Vision, Dr Ahmad and Dr Ayub from the surgery, representatives from Merton Clinical Commissioning Group and the developer, Octopus Health who are project managing the build process. The event was designed to inform local Councillors and our MP about plans and to share the good news story. The event went very well and was the launch of wider engagement with our patients and community over the coming months.

As part of the formal planning process for the new building you will be invited to consult on the plans and have your say, in the meantime if you would like to ask any questions, or have any comments to share, please contact us at:

Out of Area Registrations

You are able to be registered at our practice if you live or have moved outside of our practice area. However it is important that you are aware that we will no longer be able to visit you if you are unable to attend the practice.

This may make it more difficult for you to access medical help when you are not well. It is not the responsibility of the practice to arrange for another doctor to visit you in these circumstances. If you live outside our area you will also be asked to sign a disclaimer regarding home visits limitations.

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

If you have not signed up for our Monthly Patient Participation Group yet, please, ask at the reception for a sign-up form.

Everyone is Welcome to join us!

Our PPG Meetings will be taking place on the first Thursday of every month. Please, let us know in advance if you wish to attend.

Medication reviews:

In order for the Doctors to issue the correct medications and the correct dosages most of the times a patient is required to have a medication review. This is, normally, every six months but it mainly depends on the medication you are taking. Please, make sure you book your reviews before the due date and if you are not sure if you need one or do not remember the date, our reception can tell you when your next one is due.

Please, also, note that prescription requests take approximately 48 hours to be processed so we kindly ask you that you make sure that you request them a few days before you completely run out of medication. We apologize for any inconvenience and Thank you for your understanding!
